I've been a bit caught up by this new series "Legend of the Seeker" the last two weeks. I was just browsing Hulu.com and I just stumbled across this fantasy action adventure, and I just can't pass it up.
When I first started watching I was very annoyed by the bad acting and bad writing. But something about it kept me watching. I just couldn't help myself. I kept watching and watching and pretty soon I realized the acting really gotten a lot better and so has the writing. Of course it's by no means amazing, but it's sure a lot more watchable then before.
The thing was really that the series is a fantasy epic that you really don't find a lot of these days. So I was definitely intrigued by it. You know it's addictive to you when you sat down and watch all 16 episodes in a couple days. But then that's me anyways, I watch TV in bulk online. It's insanity. I'm always looking for more things to watch online. I watch it through Netflix and hulu and all those other sites. I can't even stand popping a DVD into my computer player. I just like clicking and getting my shows.
I am learning an enormous amount of stuff from watching all this TV. It's one of those things where if you just do a little or do some of, you don't really learn acting. But when you watch hours upon hours upon hours of TV a day...
...you really grow tremendously as an actor, so I think.
The show stars Craig Horner, Bridget Regan and Bruce Spence with Craig Parker. The story is based on the book The Sword of Truth. I have no idea how true to the book it is since I've never read it. It's just a fun show to enjoy with somethings to snack on. Yeah I eat a lot. I tend to keep snacking and eating. But I am working out lately so it's good.
Well if you like a fantasy, check it out. It's fun. I do suggest to not expect anything mind blowing, but rather just a fun little ride to enjoy with a little fantasy to indulge yourself in.

dude, you've never read the books. Go, buy "Wizards first Rule" by Terry Goodkind. You will be transported, mesmorized, left wanting to go out and buy the rest of the series immediately. Also, you will come to HATE this travesty of a Tv show and condem it to the depths of the underworld. To all of the fans of this series this show sucks worse than anything I have ever seen in my entire life!
LOL...ok, I will have to go and try to read the book! It really isn't all that good, the TV show...so I can definitely see how it can be very upsetting.
WOW This kind of reminds me of the whole Twilight business. Good thing I watched the show before I read these books.
