These works are definitely something I just stumbled across doing. I didn't Photoshop any of them except to just add my website on them to protect the images just a tad bit, though it's not like it needs to and could be protected.
It does feel nice that I have so much art and music to release that I can pretty much keep releasing something new every day for the next two months and probably still have spare.
From the top to the bottom, the works are titled:
1) Dazzle Drizzle
2) Fleeting Bolt
3) Swirl Sizzle
The specific of the technique of these works are rather simple. In a way it was kind of like those drip ink painting where artist take a paint brush and then drip ink on a canvas. Instead of ink and canvas, I used light and camera. I was in a moving car while I was in Hong Kong, on my way back from an outing with relatives. My uncle was driving and I decided to take the camera out and start taking pictures. Before I knew it I simply had the lens capturing lights while the car was moving. Eventually I started moving the camera too to paint what I sense as the environment mixing together. It was a lot of toying around and a lot of guess work. There really isn't something that is concrete about this kind of work. The car is moving constantly and the lighting environment around me was constantly changing. I just had to take it by the moment and paint the lights. Sometimes smaller movements, sometimes larger. Faster; Slower. More jagged; more smooth. In the end, these were the three of my favorite photos from the batch.
Feel free to visit my site to see more of my other photography.
